Disassembly - Components

February 15, 2004 The rear shock absorbers, tail pipe,
driveshaft, fuel line, and emergency break cables are removed.


   
February 22, 2004 The stiffener brackets, brake,
and clutch pedals are removed.

March 6, 2004 The front suspension, rack and pinion, break lines, and rear axle are removed
from the frame.  All that remains are bolts left in place for reference, clips for fuel lines,
 clips for break lines, and clips for the wire harness.  


             
April 14, 2004  Some minor repairs are done to frame before sandblasting can be done.  
Small cracks in the rear of the frame are welded, the front of the frame is straightened,
and the mounting for the rack and pinion is repaired.
